FDM Example
Fused deposition modeling, which is often referred to as “FDM®”, is a type of additive fabrication commonly used within engineering design. Throughout the development and manufacturing production cycle, FDM® systems are invaluable every step of the way including conceptual prototyping, design verification and direct digital manufacturing.
Dinsmore and Associates has used the FDM® process to produce form-fit and functional prototypes for a variety of custom applications including medical disposable parts, aerospace components, and consumer products.
