PolyJet™ is the unsurpassed technology in terms of high productivity, flexibility and model quality to shorten your products design-to-manufacturing cycle. The technology uses environmentally friendly materials for use in many applications. The PolyJet™ process can dramatically reduce risk when creating complex molds by enabling the majority of testing to be performed on early stage prototypes.
The head travels along the X-axis (similar to a line printer) depositing a single layer of photopolymer resin onto the build tray. As the resin is deposited onto the platform ultraviolet lights are instantly curing the resin; this step eliminates the need for post curing required by other technologies. The result is an incredibly smooth and even surface with very few build lines, which is helped by the incredibly small layer thickness at only 16 microns. Because of the intricacies of the PolyJet™ machine it can create very complicated geometries; such as cavities, overhangs, undercuts, delicate features, and thin-walled sections. Dinsmore and Associates, Inc. proudly uses PolyJet™ technology to create high resolution, tight tolerance parts such as medical devices, surgical tools, electrical panel components, valves, or items for nearly any industry.
The PolyJet™ process uses the full line of FullCure® model and support materials including the Translucent 720, VeroBlue, VeroWhite and VeroBlack. Also available are the flexible rubber-like resins TangoGray, TangoBlack, and TangoPlus.
