Check out some of the new things Dinsmore & Associates has worked on to make life a little greener. DRI Energy came to Dinsmore & Associates with patent drawings. Dinsmore’s design team and engineers went to work and completed the design and development for three new products: products, flat tile, s-tile, and clay tile.
After the 3D design was completed, Dinsmore created SLA® prototypes and plastic castings of each part. Several design iterations later, Dinsmore created 30 sets of parts ready for marketing, tradeshow demos and for installation on homes to test form, fit and function. To assist in final production, Dinsmore created the final production prints and to prepare the design for tooling.

Featuring brand new SERVICES: DMLS
DMLS (Direct Metal Laser-Sintering) is the newest service offered by Dinsmore and Associates for additive manufactured parts in pure metals. The application spectrum of DMLS ranges from prototypes to series products and end parts. Metal parts of the most complex geometries are built layer by layer, directly from 3D CAD data, fully automatically, and without any tooling. The parts have excellent mechanical properties, high detail resolution and a very good surface quality. The process melts the metal powder entirely, creating a fine, homogeneous structure. DMLS enables the formation of cavities and undercuts which, with conventional methods, can only be produced with great difficulty, if at all. Therefore, the technology is ideal for applications which require maximum individuality – for example when building customized implants.

With ABS-like properties, outstanding water resistance and high stability., WaterShed produces near colorless, functional, accurate parts that simulate acrylic in appearance. Use in automotive, medical or consumer products where high quality transparency is needed.
Featuring new resin UPGRADE: TangoPlus
Dinsmore and Associates recently upgraded our PolyJet machines to handle the latest innovation from Tango Plus made by Objet. Tango Plus is an unmatched, material which is perfect for applications where rubber-like flexibility and durability is needed. Use TangoPlus for projects such as: gaskets and seals, hoses, athletic footwear and much more. TangoBlack and TangoGrey are also available.
